BERKS COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION AND KEEP OUR REPUBLIC TO HOST COMMUNITY CONVERSATION ON “TRUST IN OUR ELECTIONS” ON OCTOBER 7
Event panel features former Federal Circuit Court Judge Tom Vanaskie, the Berks County Solicitor, and senior PA Department of State official
READING, PA - On Monday, October 7th at 6:00 pm, former Federal Circuit Court Judge Tom Vanaskie will join Berks County Solicitor Cody L. Kauffman, and Michael McDonald, Policy Director at the PA Department of State at Alvernia University in Reading for a discussion sponsored by Keep Our Republic (KOR) and the Berks County Bar Association entitled, “Trust in Our Elections: A Community Conversation.”
Many voters have little information on how our election process works, including what happens after they cast their ballots. This informative, nonpartisan event is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of the 2024 election process and equipping our community to be able to recognize and address misinformation surrounding election integrity.
The event will be moderated by Dr. Victoria Williams, Professor of Political Science at Alvernia University.
Panel members will be available for in-person and remote interviews prior to the event on October 7th to discuss election-related issues and potential threats to the electoral process. They are also available for advance interviews leading up to October 7th.
