Berks Bar Supports ABA in Defending Rule of Law

The Berks County Bar Association joined the American Bar Association and 57 bar associations from across the country on Wednesday in defending the rule of law and the importance of an independent judiciary. 

The Berks Bar endorsed a joint statement that rejects any efforts to undermine judges, the courts, and the legal profession. 

"Defending the integrity of the legal profession and our judiciary aligns with our mission as a bar association," Berks Bar President Daniel C. Nevins said. "We are proud to support the American Bar Association and our colleagues from across the country in supporting fundamental principles essential to guaranteeing justice for all individuals and the independence of our courts."
