Caseload Assignment Update

Summary Appeal Cases:
Senior Judge Lieberman and Senior Judge Boccabella will begin hearing Summary Appeal cases in July 2023.  All of Judge Sprecher’s “active” cases have been reassigned to the Senior Judges as of June 23, 2023.
Cost hearings will continue to be heard by Judge Parisi.

Petitions for Name Change:
Judge Gavin will begin hearing Petitions for Name Change cases in July 2023.  All of Judge Sprecher’s “pending” Name Change cases have been reassigned to Judge Gavin as of June 19, 2023.

Judge Sprecher’s Remaining Civil Cases:
Judge Sprecher’s remaining “pending” civil cases have been reassigned evenly to Judge Fudeman, Judge Nevius, and Judge Gavin as of June 19, 2023.
