BERKS COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION POLLS MEMBERS ON RETAINING JUDGES

The Berks County Bar Association is releasing the results of our Judicial Plebiscite, which asked members to rate the three candidates competing in the May 20 primary for nominations to serve as a Berks County Court of Common Pleas judge.

The Berks County Bar Association joined the American Bar Association and 57 bar associations from across the country on Wednesday in defending the rule of law and the importance of an independent judiciary. 

A majority of Berks County Bar Association members polled support retaining two Berks County judges in the Nov. 7 general election, according to the results of the association’s recent plebiscite.

RE:  NOTICE of Proposed Amendments to the Bylaws

The Board of Directors of the Berks County Bar Association proposes amending its Bylaws to address the suspension or loss of membership arising from the conduct of a member.

The Berks County Bar Association released on Tuesday the results of a poll, which asked members to rate the three candidates competing in the May 16 primary for nominations to serve as a Berks County Court of Common Pleas judge.

Berks County Bar Association President Gabriela Raful congratulated the Hon. M. Theresa Johnson on Thursday for making history as Berks County’s first female President Judge.

Members kicked off the holiday season by sampling the flavors of Seville, Spain at this year's Holiday Reception!

Over 100 members attended the annual membership meeting on Wednesday, October 26th.

A majority of Berks County Bar Association members polled support retaining two Berks County judges in the Nov. 2 general election, according to the results of the association’s recent plebiscite. President Judge Thomas G. Parisi and Judge Jeffrey K. Sprecher are standing for retention for 10-year terms on the bench.
