President Judge Thomas G. Parisi issued an Administrative Order increasing the assessment of the Crime Victim Services and Compensation Act fees to a total of $100.

President Judge Thomas Parisi issued an administrative order which vacates an Action to Reduce Evictions Order 'in light of the subsequent CDC action and the directive of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.'

President Judge Thomas Parisi issued an administrative order following the expiration of the CDC order to stay all residential evictions for non-payment of rent. The actions to reduce evictions are outlined in the order and are effective immediately.

The Berks County Courts (23rd Judicial District) remain in an ongoing judicial emergency. Due to the rising number of positive COVID cases in Berks County, further efforts have been made to reduce the amount of people present in court facilities while keeping the courts open to the public. Pursuant to local Court Order, all residential landlord tenant actions must be accompanied by an affadavit signed by the landlord stating whether they have received a Declaration Form from the tenant pursuant to the CDC order.
